How pricing is structured
This page is the pricing structure behind the Blueprint: the memberships and what each one includes, the add-ons, pay as you go, the referral offer and Private Points. It is the half of the model that sets the numbers, and it sits alongside How it is organised, which sets the shape.

The structure is the same in every city: the memberships, what they include, and how the add-ons work never change. The numbers are the only thing that moves. Every city sets its own, and London’s current numbers are shown here as the worked example.
Special events are priced per event. Each event’s format is different, with different costs, so there is no single ticket price to show here. See Special Events or your city’s page for the events themselves.
The memberships below pay for our general learning program: our regular dance classes, running weekly alongside our special events.
Two ways in for free
Your first class is free
First time with us? Tell the door helper when you arrive and your first class is free. Which one you get depends on when you turn up: Dance Express if it has not started yet, or Super Dance Express if it has already started or finished, which we can teach you any time up to the last hour of the party. You are welcome to stay for the party after it. Arriving just for the party on its own is not free; the free part is the class + party combo.
Members bring a friend for free
Every member can bring a friend for free: one friend per event, no limit on how often, for as long as you are a member. Your friend can come to the party, or dance express and the party. They come in with you at the same time, not before, not later, because it is your pass that is scanned twice at the door. If they turn up separately, they pay as you go on the door. If it is their first time with us, the free first class applies instead.

* The Super Dance Express taster is available any time up to the last hour of the party.
Pay as you go is walk-in only, and it is never sold online. Turn up on the day and pay at the door by card, contactless tap. There is nothing to book or buy beforehand, and we take no cash at the door. Memberships are the other way round: a membership is subscribed online only, and it is never sold at the door.

Another coach or mentor +£10 a month
Add another coach or mentor to your corner. Needs the coaching & mentorship membership.
Taxi dancer +£20 a month
Our taxi dancers dance with you at the socials: you choose from the team, and they look after you on the floor. Needs any membership.

Membership is designed to be the better deal when you come every week. Coaching & mentorship is not sold per class.
Two things every city keeps
Student discount
Who qualifies and how much is set by your city. Bring your student ID and ask the team.
Youth fund
3% of memberships supports dancers under 18. It is in the price, not on top of it.
Refer a friend
London's numbers again as the example. Each city is run by its own team and sets its own percentages, and the offer may evolve over time; check your city's page for what's on offer.
This is a different thing from bringing a friend for free. That is a guest coming with you to an event. This is a friend who joins their own membership. Two offers, and the same first step: the friend you bring for free is the friend who earns you this, if they go on to join our membership.
Every member gets their own link. It opens our free first-visit form, where your friend leaves their name and email once, before they come. It is not a page for joining our membership, and nobody subscribes through it.
Then they come with you, at the same time, not before, not later. Your pass is scanned twice at the door, once for you and once for your friend, and the team finds them by name. Your friend does not get a pass of their own, and the free visit is not claimable without you there. You can do this as often as you like, one friend per event, for as long as you are a member, whether they ever join our membership or not.
If they do join our membership, they do that online, and they should use the same email they gave us, because that is what carries you as the person who brought them.
Word of mouth builds this community, so it pays both of you. Your friend gets 50% off their first month, and you get 25% of their membership price in your account balance. Both are percentages of whichever membership your friend joins on, so the amounts follow the tier.

You also get a Private Point each (+1PP). Your friend's half price applies the moment they join our membership. The two points and your account balance are released once their first month is complete and their first payment has settled.
Your friend has 90 days to join our membership, counted from the first time we took their details. If they were already in our system before you referred them, that original date is the one that counts. It never restarts. Those 90 days keep running while they are coming along as your guest, so a friend who comes free for months and joins our membership after that is very welcome, but the reward will have gone.
The reward is earned once per person, by whoever brought them first. If your friend is already known to us, because someone else brought them before you or because they came in on their own for their free first class, there is nothing left to earn on them.
One promotion at a time: joining our membership on a referral is the promotion, so a discount code does not apply on top.
Private Points
Private Points pay for private sessions with any teacher, coach or mentor on the team, whatever membership you have. They never expire, and an untouched pack is refundable in the first month.

What a private session costs: London's structure
Points book a private session with a teacher, a coach or a mentor, and with other services as we add them. A session runs in person or online, and you will see the format when you book with that person. Everyone on the team starts the month at their best price. As their month books up, a session with them costs more points, and on the 1st of every month the ladder resets, starting fresh for everyone. So booking early gets the best price, and the people in demand earn more.
